Part Time: Hours Based on Events
Compensation: $15.
74 per hour
JOB SUMMARY
A Prep-Cook is responsible for the daily preparation of food items in grill, fry and or other areas of the
kitchen.
Work is performed under supervision of the Food and Beverage Manager and Chef and is
evaluated through observation, conferences, review of work performed and public approval.
TYPICAL JOB DUTIES
Setup stations according to Chef/Kitchen Manager’s guidelines.
Prepare all food items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner.
Follow recipes, portion controls and presentation specifications set by the Chef.
Clean, stock and maintain the workstations throughout the shift.
Follow all safety and sanitation policies.
Assist with cleaning, sanitation and organization of the kitchen, walk-in coolers, and all storage
areas.
Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma and or prior Prep-Cook experience.
Basic understanding of professional cooking and kitchen equipment handling skills.
This position will spend 100% of the time standing.

Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and managers.
Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure.
Must have a commitment to providing quality service.
Ability to take direction.
Ability to perform moderately heavy physical labor for extended periods of time.
Must have the ability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.
Must have or be able to quickly obtain Food Handlers permit.
