*PARA EDUCATOR RESPONSIBILITIES* * This position requires one-on-one support.
* Assist the Special Education specialist in creating a positive learning environment to facilitate the personal, social and intellectual development of students.
* Provide educational services to students in the special education program.
* Other related duties as assigned.
*QUALIFICATIONS* * Minimum AA degree or equivalent or passed PRAXIS test required.
* Ability to make good decisions.
* Patient, flexible, self-motivated, good communication, teamwork, academic skills and positive social skills and a sense of humor.
Ability to relate well to students, parents and staff.
* May require lifting, prolonged sitting or standing.
Attendance and punctuality are important functions of this position.
* Must be COVID vaccinated.
*COMPENSATION* Salary is $18.
00-20.
00/hr.
