Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Finance Manager to join our team.
As a Finance Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of our organization, ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations, and providing strategic financial guidance.
This is a key leadership role that requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively communicate financial information to stakeholders.
Duties:
- Develop and implement financial strategies, policies, and procedures
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and forecasts
- Manage the budgeting process and monitor financial performance
- Ensure compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Oversee treasury management activities, including cash flow forecasting and investment management
- Manage accounts receivable and credit control processes
- Collaborate with internal teams to provide financial insights and support decision-making
- Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement
- Coordinate external audits and ensure timely completion of audit requirements
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in finance
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
- Proven experience in finance management or a similar role
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, GAAP, accrual accounting principles, and financial concepts
- Previous experience in public accounting or financial services is a plus
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data
- Proficient in using financial software and MS Office Suite (Excel, Word)
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present financial information effectively
- Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with cross-functional teams
