EPIC Early Learning is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Infant/Toddler Lead Teacher to join our team.
As a private, nonprofit organization, EPIC has been providing early childhood educational services to children and families in Central Washington for over 35 years.

The Infant/Toddler Lead Teacher will play a critical role in creating a safe, supportive, and stimulating environment for infants and toddlers.
You will work closely with a team of educators and support staff to provide developmentally appropriate care and education.

Responsibilities Create and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans and daily routines that promote the physical, cognitive, social, and emotional development of infants and toddlers Provide individualized care and support to meet the unique needs of each child Maintain a warm, responsive, and nurturing relationship with each child Collaborate with parents and families to build strong partnerships and involve them in their child's learning and development Observe and document children's behaviors, development, and progress Provide a safe and clean environment that meets health and safety standards Lead and supervise assistant teachers and support staff Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities Be committed to characterizing a culture of safety within our centers, playgrounds, buses, and anywhere that children may be present.
Be familiar with and encourage EPICs culture of "See Something, Say Something".
Requirements Associate of Arts in Early Childhood Education or related field or Infant/Toddler Child Development Associate and/or Infant/Toddler State Certificate.
Childcare Basics 30 hours STARS training Minimum of 2 years of experience working with infants and toddlers in a licensed childcare setting, including experience in a lead teacher role Knowledge of infant/toddler development and best practices in early childhood education Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with children, families, and colleagues Ability to lead and supervise assistant teachers and support staff Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team Passionate about providing high-quality care and education to infants and toddlers Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant educational technology Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred Pay Level: $23.

Must pass an initial and periodic background check through the Washington State Department of Children, Youth & Families (DCYF).
Provide proof of MMR vaccination and/ or resistance to Measles, Mumps & Rubella.
Current Food Handlers card (obtain the training within 30 days of employment).
Current First Aid/CPR card (obtain within thirty 30 days of employment).
Complete Childcare Basics 30 hours STARS training within 3 months of hire Meet the minimum education requirements within the timeframe as stated in the performance standards.
Complete Child Abuse and Neglect training and all other mandated training.
