Wage: $130,000 - $150,000 Benefits Medical/Dental FSA 403(b) Retirement Additional Voluntary Benefits Paid Holidays Vacation/Sick Leave Education Assistance Program Employee Assistance Program Longevity awards Position Summary: This position will have responsibility for providing psychiatric services to identified adults seen at Catholic Charities who are enrolled for Mental Health services.
This position can be in-person or via tele-health.
Responsibilities: Perform psychiatric evaluations and medication management services to enrolled consumers: Provides psychiatric services to enrolled individuals in intensive treatment, as well as outpatient services.
Services can be provided in person or by tele-psychiatric interview Evaluate consumers potentially in need of psychotropic medication Prescribe, monitor and evaluate results of medication prescribed to consumers Educate consumers on benefits and risks of all medications prescribed Order and evaluate laboratory tests as indicated for appropriate medical and psychiatric care.
Provides psychiatric services to consumers admitted to Crisis Stabilization: Works in conjunction with crisis services in directing care needs of consumers receiving crisis stabilization services Evaluate consumers potentially in need of psychotropic medication Prescribe, monitor, and evaluate results of medication prescribed to consumers Educate consumers on benefits and risks of all medications prescribed Order and evaluate laboratory tests as indicated for appropriate medical and psychiatric care Accurately document the services provided in the approved electronic health record Provide consultation to facilitate care of persons served: Consult with Catholic Charities clinical staff as needed Coordinate and/or consult with outside physicians for psychiatric or medical management of a client under Catholic Charities care Ensure accuracy of psychiatric diagnoses and assessments conducted by Mental Health staff Provide expertise and clinical leadership in the development of treatment and discharge planning for consumers served Oversee quality and suitability of treatment and discharge planning for consumers Provide education and training to clinical staff regarding diagnose, treatment planning, use and abuse of medications, health maintenance and related clinical issues Demonstrate knowledge of and compliance with agency policies and procedures: Follow front office and departmental procedures established for effective program management.
Follow agency infection control policies and procedures.
Provide services and maintain records to meet BHO requirements, level of care standards, and agency guideline Maintain productivity (direct client contact) at 70 % to department standard Meet regularly with provider specific staff regarding systemic issues impacting patient care Participate in team building and coordination to improve program operations and quality of service delivery Document all clinical activities in conjunction with agency guidelines and procedures: Complete and submit progress notes and provider specific in a timely fashion using the agencys EHR.
Maintain the security of CareLogic or other EHR system(s) Ensure medication consents are documented and current Provide legal documentation as required Understand and comply with all relevant regulatory and safety standards and requirements: Complete training and licensing requirements in accordance with professional standards of the discipline Submit licenses and insurance information within 10 days of renewal Completes paperwork or online applications to assist with credentialing for third party payers.

These physical demands are required up to 80% of the time.
Position also requires ability to drive with adequate vision.
Non-Physical Requirements: Education: ARNP, MD, or DO required with Psychiatric Board Certification Experience: Minimum 1 year experience with direct patient care in psychiatric services Special Skills: Electronic Medical Records use documentation skills (EMR) Good interpersonal skills Possess good verbal and written communication skills Ability to provide service in a culturally competent manner Ability to work independently and as a team member Ability to represent the agency in a professional manner within the community Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred, but not required Licensure, Registration, Certification: Current licensure without any restrictions in the State of Washington Valid Washington State drivers license and required agency minimum liability insurance for WA State Active DEA license to prescribe Employment is conditional upon: Being cleared by criminal background check and fingerprinting when required About Catholic Charities Serving Central Washington: Catholic Charities Serving Central Washington provides help and creates hope for thousands of people each year regardless of religious, social, or economic backgrounds.
