, is seeking a maintenance & operations worker to be part of our team that serves the community.
Duties include but are not limited to: Performing assigned maintenance tasks, snow removal and road maintenance, electrical, painting, plumbing, mechanical, welding, carpentry, pool & water system operation.
A successful candidate:
• Will demonstrate a willingness to learn and accept instruction.
• Will Possess or obtain WA waterworks operator certification.
• Will have good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Will possess a valid Washington state driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Will be able to read technical manuals, blueprints, and complete reports, and maintenance logs as required.
• Will perform routine inspections of premises and equipment.
• Will perform park and playground maintenance including equipment repairs, mowing, raking, disposal etc.
• Will perform all aspects of pool operation and maintenance.
• Will perform community water distribution system maintenance and repair, under the guidance and direction of the Water Distribution Manager.
• Prefer experience with hand tools and equipment operation.
• Work is predominantly outside & must be able to perform in a wide variety of weather.
• Must be willing and able to work flexible hours when assigned (including nights & weekends as needed) & be able to work on an on-call status.
• Must be able to lift and carry at least 50 lbs.
and comfortably do a variety of physical activities including, but not limited to, climbing, bending, crawling, sitting, driving, digging, and repetitious tasks.
A 40-hour work week with occasional overtime.
The typical work schedule is 8 hours per day, 5 days per week; exact schedules are assigned by management.
Class B CDL and WDM 1 preferred, but not required.
Competitive salary package includes phone stipend, paid holidays, vacation, and healthcare.
Hourly rate $25.
00-$28.
