We are seeking a skilled Network Administrator to join our team at Custom Apple Packers.
This role involves a range of responsibilities aimed at ensuring the effective design, implementation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of our network systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, implement, maintain, and troubleshoot LAN, WLAN, WAN, and VPN connectivity.
Handle security solutions for network, data, email, DNS, and access control.
Manage virtual datacenter networks using VMWare VDS and NSX.
Work with Intrusion Detection/Prevention Systems.
Develop monitoring strategies for network, virtualization, application, and server performance.
Administer storage area networks, data backups and offsite replication.
Coordinate large scale technology installation projects, liaising with multiple vendors.
Handle external DNS and remote resource access failover across datacenter WAN redundancy.
Lead cybersecurity incident mitigation efforts.
Direct, train, support, and delegate tasks to technicians at multiple sites.
Identify and implement technological solutions to enhance production process efficiency.
Architect high availability solutions for critical company resources.
Proven track record in system and network administration.
Strong understanding of IT infrastructure and project management.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team and lead projects.
Relevant certifications (e.
g.
, Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), VMware Certified Professional (VCP).
Participate in on-call rotation and respond promptly to requests.
