The Town Toyota Center located in Wenatchee WA, is a multi-purpose facility containing a 4,000+ seat Main Arena and a second permanent Ice Rink.

The Town Toyota Center is looking for a hands-on team oriented and focused individual as the Director of Operations.
The primary function of the Director of Operations is to oversee the day-to-day event and operational functions of the facility, oversight of operations staff and the oversight of third-party services contracts.
The Director of Operations is also responsible for the development and management of capital budget projects related to building operations.

This position reports directly to the General Manager*.

*Facility Responsibilities: * * Oversee the daily operations and maintenance of the arena.
This includes; audio/video, lighting, ice maintenance, workplace safety, communications, electronics, custodial etc.
* Directly supervise the Operations Manager, Building Maintenance Manager and supporting staff.
* Maintain and build strong relationships with vendors, partners, and stakeholders.
* Manage/oversee recruitment, staffing, and employee development within the operations team.
* Demonstrate continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality seamless customer service.
* Establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, facility stakeholders and facility users.
* Create annual budgets for all areas of oversight, including Capital Projects.
* Oversee and ensure that the facility is kept in a clean and presentable state.
* Responsible for overseeing the installation and maintenance of ice surfaces.
* Administer and negotiate contracts with outside vendors including pest control, scoreboard systems, landscaping, snow removal, equipment systems, security systems etc.

* Oversee all hiring, training, and scheduling of event operations, maintenance staff and contractors.
* All other duties as assigned.
*Events Responsibilities: * * Lead the operations team in the implementation and execution of all operations related activities and duties, including event planning and preparedness.
* Conduct advanced calls and show production planning for upcoming events.
* Oversee advancing and communication of event related information to the appropriate departments and staff.
* Negotiate and administer labor contracts including stagehands, electrical and A/V.
* Oversee the operations of event set-up and tear-down, i.
e.
basketball floor, stage risers, chairs, signs, hockey glass, dasher boards, etc.
* Acts as liaison with city services for numerous facilities related functions (city codes, parking, license, permits, etc.
) * All other duties as assigned.
*Qualifications:* * Bachelor’s degree in a related field and/or a minimum of five (5) years of related experience.
* Additional experience or industry accreditations would be considered in lieu of a bachelor’s degree.
* A proven track record of experience in any of the following disciplines/industries: Fairs, festivals, stock shows, rodeo, equestrian event facilities, theme parks, public assembly venues, agritourism facilities, convention centers, auditoriums, aquariums, zoos, parks, outdoor amusement, sporting complex, retail shopping malls, entertainment, events, or the experience industry management with solid knowledge of operations management.
* A strong leader who thrives in a collaborative, dynamic, fast-moving environment while driving toward clearly defined goals and solutions.
* Knowledge and experience with event production and show advances.
* Ability to work a varied schedule under diverse conditions and stringent time schedules.
* Experience in a Managerial/Supervisory Role.
