This position is responsible for operation and repair of the irrigation system as a whole to insure proper water distribution as required for optimum turf health.

Responsibilities:
Carry out daily irrigating assignments and understand how your assignment relates to that day’s play
Recognize how the various equipment applications effect the water cycle selections for each job
Inspect all water stations, report any damage and or lack of performance to a supervisor
Create work orders for equipment repair and maintenance
Operate specialized golf course maintenance equipment
Complete special projects as assigned
Qualifications:
Strong irrigation background including repair, maintenance, installation, satellites, pumps, and central control
Strong golf course background with experience in all phases of turf management program
Experience with and the ability to operate specialized golf course turf management equipment
Have current or be willing to pursue a Washington Pesticide Applicators License
Must have the ability to follow oral and written instructions and work independently and cooperatively
Current valid drivers license
Ability to work flexible hours and days (to include weekends, holidays, and early mornings)
Previous golf course maintenance experience
Experience operating motorized vehicles
Interest and knowledge of the game of golf
