We are looking to hire skilled and qualified *Carpenters* with knowledge of various carpentry techniques.
You will be responsible for layout, installation, repairing, finishing, and maintaining various structures, fixtures, and buildings.
A successful applicant should be hardworking, reliable, licenced driver, have good communication, customer service, organizational skills, and have 3-5 years experience.
*Responsibilities:*
* Carpenter responsibilities include:
* Ability to read and interpret blueprints
* Assisting supervisors with structural desing, planning, layout and installation.
* Taking measurements and calculating the size and amount of material needed
* Cutting, shaping, and smoothing lumber and other material (e.
g.
, fiberglass) according to measurements
* Conduct repair work and installation of doors, windows, drywall, cabinets, stairs and other fixtures as required.
* Ability to operate tools, machines and other equipment.
* Compliance with local building codes, and health and safety regulations.
* Provide excellent customer service
* Ability to stand for prolonged periods, climb, pull and lift heavy objects.
* Inspect places and conduct repairs or maintenance.
* Build scaffolding and other construction structures.
*Requirements*
* Proven experience as carpenter
* Hands-on experience in working with carpentry materials.
* Excellent understanding of carpentry techniques and methods of installation and construction
* Proficient in using electrical and manual equipment and measurement tools (powered saws, hammers, rulers etc.
)
* Ability to read technical documents and drawings.
* Willingness to follow safety guidelines at all times.
* Good knowledge of English
* Good Knowledge of mathematics
* Good physical condition and endurance
* High school diploma
