We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Project Manager to join our team.
Project Managers directly oversee assigned projects including Electrical and Technologies trade scopes.
Project Managers (PMs) are responsible for managing mid-scale projects ($2-10 million).
PMs are responsible for overseeing development of project execution plans and are expected to continuously manage and review progress to goals and project plans, identifying gaps to plans, and initiating recovery action plans.
PMs provide, oversee, and monitor Project Risk Assessment Plans.
PMs coordinate and work with Senior Project Managers, other Project Managers, the PreConstruction Manager, Purchasing Manager, Pre/Preconstruction Manager, General Superintendent, Fleet Manager, IT Manager, Accounting Manager, and Human Resources Program Manager to accomplish corporate and division objectives.
*EDUCATION & CERTIFICATIONS* · Required: High School diploma, may be waived based on prior experience.
· Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Construction NECA, MCA (Electrical and Technologies trade associations) certifications.
OSHA-10 or OSHA-30 certified.
· Field experience and past Journeyman’s license or equivalent in Electrical or Technologies trades preferred.
· Clean, safe driving record.
*EXPERIENCE* · Required: Minimum of five years of experience working as a Project Engineer or Asst.
Project Manager with a combination of commercial and data center construction to include supervision on projects with budgets over $5 million.
Experience with design/build, take-off from plans & specs, derivation of labor rates, cost markup and pricing methodology, pull planning, gross profit and margin analysis, labor and equipment productivity measures.
· Preferred: Proven success in managing/leading a team in a business environment.
Five years of experience in a Project Management role in a contractor business with annual revenues > $10 million.
Experience scheduling and supervising project employees.
Five years of experience using construction ERP software, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & Outlook) and Teams.
Experience estimating, using Bluebeam, Accubid Enterprise, Spectrum, ViewpointOne, BuildOps preferred.
· Additional experience and a superior track record may substitute for education and/or certification requirements.

Proven leader who is goal oriented, self-motivated and personable, who understands how to attract, retain, and earn referrals from construction clients, customers, and general contractors.
Quality and results oriented, with the ability to understand and balance all business considerations.
· Ability to guide, direct, and coordinate adoption of new processes and procedures and manage (coach) reporting staff they manage.
· Excellent leadership, management, training, listening, and coaching skills.

· Ability to read, interpret, initiate, and respond to RFPs, RFQs, blueprints, awarded contract requirements, negotiated contract terms and agreements, and customer business priorities to remain competitive and assure customer satisfaction.
· Ability to respond to common inquiries, business policies, and technical capabilities as requested by current and future project customers.
· Excellent written and oral communication skills; working knowledge of estimating, ERP, word-processing, and integrated construction software applications; organizational skills and ability to perform detail-oriented work are required.
· Ability to quickly respond to customer price and service ability inquiries, calculate and submit change requests, project terms and conditions, and crew availability for scheduling.
· Able to negotiate favorable outcomes over the phone and on-site, person-to-person.
Is also able to communicate effectively with commercial or industrial customers at the executive, contract manager, general contractor, and on-site Superintendent levels of the customer organization, as well as inspectors and safety personnel.
· Teaches by example, demonstrates desirable behaviors, and assists in training assigned APMs and PEs.
Committed to continuing education and learning for advancement to larger projects.
· Makes sound decisions in a timely manner, which take into consideration objectives, risks, implications, costs, values and overall Stetner strategy.
· Thorough knowledge of the construction subcontracting.
Works well with, and coordinates hand-offs to/from, SCG subcontractors for contract scopes outside department capabilities.
· Able to maintain confidentiality about Stetner matters such as price and cost schedules, company procedures and Clients.
Failure to maintain confidentiality may be interpreted as unethical, which may result in immediate termination.
*WORK HOURS AND AVAILABILITY * This is a full-time salaried position, based on an average 45-50+ hour work week.
Data Center projects may require a 60/60/50 schedule.
This position may be housed at the main office in Quincy, WA or at a satellite office location, with 25% travel required for meeting customers and visiting job sites, or 100% travel for out-of-area projects.
