*Midland Electric is HIRING! Experienced Underground Journeyman*
Are you an experienced and skilled electrician looking for a new and exciting opportunity? We are currently seeking a dedicated individual with expertise in commercial projects, specifically street lighting and traffic signals!
Midland Electric is a leading provider of reliable and sustainable electricity solutions, specializing in commercial projects with 90% being public work focusing on water, wastewater treatment, street lighting and building projects.
As part of our team, you’ll have the opportunity to contribute to our mission of delivering power to water treatment plants, busy streets, massive generators and business infrastructure across Eastern Washington and North Idaho.
*Position:* 01 Journeyman *Location:* Wenatchee, WA & Davenport, WA *Type:* Full-Time
*Key Responsibilities:*
* Install, maintain and repair electrical systems in commercial/public projects focused on street lighting.
* Installing and repairing electrical equipment, such as transformers, switchboards, generators, lighting systems, electrical wiring, conduits and more
* Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues, providing effective solutions to minimize downtime
* Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols at all times
* Communicate effectively with team members, contractors and supervisors to keep them informed about project progress
*Qualifications:*
* Valid 01 Journeyman License for WA (ID is a bonus as well)
* Proven experience working on street lighting and traffic signals.
* Strong problem solving skills and the ability to adapt to different project requirements
* Excellent communication skills to interact with team members, contractors and supervisors
* Demonstrated commitment to safety protocols and practices
