YOU MUST HAVE RECENT EXPERIENCE AND DIRECT KNOWLEDGE OF SETTING TILE AND BE ABLE TO WORK INDEPENDENTLY WITHOUT SUPERVISION INSTALLING TILE FLOORS WITH GOOD CRAFTSMANSHIP WITH MINIMAL TRAINING!
KNOW HOW TO USE A TILE SAW, MIX THINSET AND GROUT.
- Measure and mark surfaces to be tiled and calculate the number of tiles needed
- Prepare surfaces by removing old tiles, cleaning, leveling, and applying mortar or adhesive
- Cut, shape, and install tiles using various tools such as tile cutters, saws, and drills
- Ensure tiles are properly aligned and spaced, and make adjustments as necessary
- Apply grout, sealants, and caulking to fill gaps and ensure a watertight installation
- Perform tile repairs and replacements as needed
- Collaborate with other construction professionals such as carpenters and drywall installers for remodeling projects

- Experience in concrete finishing for proper surface preparation
- Knowledge of drywall installation techniques to ensure proper tile adhesion
- Familiarity with remodeling projects and ability to work with existing structures
- Expertise in laying different types of tiles, including ceramic, porcelain, marble, and mosaic
- Skilled in caulking to provide a finished look and prevent water damage
- Understanding of water damage restoration principles for effective repairs
- Ability to assist with cabinet installation when necessary
- Carpentry skills to assist with framing or other related tasks
